Computer hardware engineers research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks, and routers. Computer Engineering applies advances in electronics and software to create devices and systems aimed at benefitting people. It encompasses computer hardware, programming, electronics, digital communications, multimedia, signal processing, robotics and other related technologies. The students also take courses in humanities, management and social sciences to develop well rounded personalities. The students in their final year are also required to complete a design or research project in which they apply the knowledge and skills gained during the course of this engineering program.
